Great Work Inc. is challenging you to stretch your Montessori creativity!
Send us your innovative, adolescent programs that have pushed the boundaries of the 3rd plane experience, whether in your classroom or community.
We are looking for programs -- aligned with Montessori pedagogy -- that practitioners have introduced which have become so successful, that they are being repeated in each new school year.
These programs must include the adolescent age group; 12-18 years old. They must involve a real world impact within the student experience. And they must be on-going, i.e. not a stand-alone lesson, but designed to be replicated in future school years.
Great Work is asking: What happens when we push the boundaries of the 3rd plane? How can we excite, encourage, and enliven the adolescent experience? And, how can we create INNOVATIVE programs with a lasting, cascading IMPACT for all adolescent teaching environments?
Submissions must meet these requirements:
· Involve adolescents;
· Constitute a 3rd plane program/real world experience;
· Can be replicated in future school years or transferred to other schools; an on-going program.
Submissions are accepted on a revolving basis and will be announced on October 15, 2018, January 15, 2019 and March 15, 2019.
On each date, there will be a $750 and $250 Award and we will feature the awarded programs on this site and social media.
